Risk factors of type 2 diabetes and ways to overcome them


The occurrence of diabetes is one of the most common occurrences worldwide. According to the recent stats, every 1 in 11 adults is a diabetic. Type 2 diabetes happens when the body is incapable to utilize insulin. There are many risk factors accompanying type 2 diabetes:

One is expected to be at a greater risk for type 2 diabetes if they are overweight or obese. Increased weight discharges chemicals that can distress the body's metabolic systems. Pre-diabetes can develop into type 2 diabetes if a proper diet is not followed and weight control is not practiced.
